About Mert Tünay

Born in Ankara, Turkey in 1974, Mert Tünay studied Chemistry at Middle East Technical University before pursuing "Advanced Studies In Music" at Istanbul Technical University, where he completed both his Master's and Doctoral education.

Throughout his career, he has contributed as a composer, songwriter, and arranger to albums by many of Turkey’s leading artists. Since 1998, he has been composing and producing music professionally for visual media, creating original scores for television series, feature films, and more than 1,000 advertising campaigns.

His work for film and advertising has been recognized with numerous nominations and awards at prestigious industry competitions. Today, he continues to work actively as a composer and music producer, creating music for films, television productions, and advertising projects both in Turkey and internationally.
